Pricing, Shipping & Returns Policy

At RainyDaize Designs, we pride ourselves on transparency, fairness, and quality craftsmanship. The following policy outlines our approach to pricing, production timeframes, delivery, returns, and handmade product variation.


1. Pricing Policy

Product Pricing

  • All prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable.

  • Prices may be updated or adjusted at any time without prior notice.

  • The price shown at checkout is the price you will be charged, unless affected by a pricing error (see “Pricing Errors”).

Sales, Discounts & Promotions

  • Promotional pricing and discount codes may be offered from time to time.

  • Discount codes cannot be used in combination with other offers unless explicitly stated.

  • All promotions apply only during the advertised timeframe and cannot be backdated.

Pricing Errors

  • In the event of a system or human error resulting in incorrect pricing (including double discounts or unintended markdowns), RainyDaize Designs reserves the right to:

    • Cancel the order, or

    • Offer the option to proceed with the order at the correct price.

  • Customers will be contacted promptly if their order is affected.

  • RainyDaize Designs is not obligated to honour pricing errors that result in substantial loss.


2. Quality Craftsmanship & Production Timeframes

  • All products are made to order unless otherwise stated in the item description.

  • Please allow 3–4 weeks for your order to be handmade, plus additional time for delivery.

  • Delivery within Australia is typically 3–6 business days, though delays may occur during peak periods such as Christmas (up to 2 weeks).

  • All orders are shipped via Australia Post. We cannot accept responsibility for delivery delays.

  • Express Shipping does not guarantee next-day delivery. Australia Post limits next-day delivery to certain eligible postcodes. Please check their postcode guide before selecting Express Shipping.


3. Delivery Coverage & Local Pickup

Delivery Coverage

  • RainyDaize Designs does not accept liability for loss or damage once a parcel has been lodged with Australia Post.

  • We ship Australia-wide.

  • International customers are welcome — please contact us for a shipping quote prior to ordering.

Local Pickup

  • Local pickup is available in Griffin, QLD.

  • Select the “Local Pickup” option at checkout.

  • Pickup instructions and address will be provided once the order is paid.


4. Returns & Refund Policy

RainyDaize Designs adheres to Australian Consumer Law.

You are entitled to a refund or exchange if:

  • The item is faulty,

  • The item is not as described,

  • The item is not fit for purpose.

Change of Mind

  • We do not offer refunds if you change your mind or decide you do not like the item.

  • However, an exchange may be offered at our discretion.

  • Items must be returned in their original, unused condition.

  • For change-of-mind cases, the customer is responsible for all postage costs.


5. The Nature of Handmade Products

Every item at RainyDaize Designs is handmade. Natural variation between one piece and the next is expected and part of the uniqueness of handmade work.

Examples include:

  • Slight size variations due to hand-measurement.

  • Minor differences in construction, finishing, or design.

  • Hand-dyed fabrics may fade or shift in colour over time — this is a normal part of the garment’s lifecycle.

  • One-of-a-kind items cannot be identically replaced, and small-batch products may not always be available for replacement.

6. How to Claim a Refund, Repair, or Exchange

To begin the process, please contact us via email with your order details and photographs (if applicable). We will work with you to find the most suitable solution, which may include:

  • Repair or alteration of the item

  • Replacement with another similar item

  • Exchange for products of similar value

  • Partial or full refund (where appropriate under Australian Consumer Law)

Postage Responsibilities

  • If the item is faulty, not as described, or not fit for purpose:

    • You pay to return the item.

    • We cover any repair, replacement, or resend costs.

  • If you have changed your mind:

    • You pay shipping both ways, plus any associated costs.

    • Items must be returned in as-new, unused condition.
